Every time I get a message that there's a holiday somewhere in the world, I always feel like I live in the wrong country. Or maybe, I just work for the wrong company.

It's Chinese New Year and you know that it's a holiday for most Asian countries. They get extra days off to celebrate their New Year - - but we don't. Our colleagues in Hong Kong have New Year's Day off as well because they are run and operated by an American corporation - so they get the best of both worlds.

Our Canadian counterpart also celebrate more holidays that us. They celebrate Boxing Day for crying out loud. And yet, they also get to celebrate our Christmas holidays. It's unfair!

Didn't mean to vent. I just want more days off that's all. We get a total of six holidays a year. Our European colleagues get six weeks of vacation to start.... tell me if I'm bitter. :)

Calling on ALL Airlines with lanes to Brazil.....

I got a call the other day from a buddy of mine with whom I've traveled to Brazil with before.

He goes,

"The fares are so expensive!!! And I don't have any more miles I can use. How can we go to Brazil this year with the dollar being so low and the fares being so high?"

I go,

"Well, if the fares don't go down before we go there in June, I am not going. I would sacrifice my traditional yearly visit to Brazil just because they are overcharging on the fares!! When I first visited Rio, the fare was $550.00 USD. Now, they charge up to the ridiculous amount of $1,750.00??? Who are they kidding?!"

I have been so spoiled since my first trip to Brazil in 2007. I have gone to Brazil every year since then. But, then again.. how can I? Can you take a look at these guys? Would you pay a high fare to go to Brazil?

I hope you didn't wake up this morning with a really bad hangover! I spent NYE sitting alone in my room watching Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper welcome the New Year at Times Square. I must admit, this was the very first time I sat home alone spending New Year's Eve but it was a welcome change.

One of the hottest guys in sports, Tim Tebow of the Denver Broncos recently captured my attention. I didn't really know what the fuzz was about until I read about his life and what's he stands for. A very religious man raised by missionary parents (known to genuflect before each game to honor his God), Tim Tebow is the ideal man for many.

He is known to put bible verses on his face during a game and have come out with an ad for Focus on the Family about abortion. Reading his life story on Wikipedia, I found out that his mom encountered pregnancy issues while pregnant with him and was given a suggestion that she choose to abort him. She refused. And here we are today.....

New Year's Resolutions. Make it or break it?

So, Christmas is finally over. Done with all the shopping, the eating and done with all the after Christmas day sales. What is it time for? Yes, New Year's resolutions....

As much as I hate making resolutions, I have always been told that you have a better chance of succeeding in a goal if you write it down. In that way, the goal becomes more real and tangible and you will have a reminder of what you promised to change in the coming year.

Have you made your resolution yet? Do you plan on losing weight? Straightening out your finances? Whatever it may be, I would suggest that you take a piece of paper, a notebook or a journal (and in my case, here on my blog) and write down the top five things you would like to accomplish in 2012.

How was Thanksgiving Y'all?

The holidays are my downfall. Going to the gym faithfully during the summer 'till the fall season was like a piece of cake.... until... Thanksgiving!

I always try to stay away from fattening foods all year round but whenever Thanksgiving rolls around, I get the "I-don't-care-anymore" attitude. So, after I pigged out during the four days I was off, I thought - - I don't care anymore.

But then, my buddy at work told me that he's going to do a 3-hour boot camp exercise this evening. It's the holiday boot camp at his gym and he invited me to go and take the lesson with him. I figured, if he can do it - I can do it too.

At the last minute - - I bagged.

I've always looked forward to Thanksgiving. It's my holiday of choice. Isn't it a wonderful thing to reserve a day - one day - just to give thanks. Every country should have this holiday. It's a day to pause and think of all the bounty we have received.

I surely am thankful for a lot of things. I am thankful first and foremost, that I still have a job. Many people out there are still looking for jobs after being out of work for months. I have been blessed.

I am also thankful for my family, my health and most of all - realizing who my real friends are. These are moments that we have to cherish and I am glad that I am spending them with friends who really care for me.

I am not going home to my family this Thanksgiving. I am simply staying put and cooking my first ever Thanksgiving dinner. I am quite excited so, I went to the store yesterday and today to buy all the ingredients that I would need to prepare a scrumptious meal for a few of my friends.

In any case, I wish you all the best and a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! May you continue to be blessed always. Cheers!

Every year, people wonder and where the biggest and most spectacular Halloween party in Philadephia known as Henri David ball is held. The "when" part is already a given. Henri David is a Halloween purist and will not hold the ball on any other night except for October 31st. Nothing changes there. Regardless of what day of the week Halloween falls, that is when he holds the magnificent ball. The question is "where".

There were a couple of years where he tried to change the venue but it didn't quite work out. The most successful place the Henri David Ball had experienced was at the Sheraton Center City Hotel located between 16th and Race Streets. For this year, 2011, the Henri David Ball will be held at the same location.

Don't get me wrong guys. I love rain and when it's raining outside, nothing beats a bowl of hot noodle soup and sitting around watching TV. I reminisce when it's raining. I think of all the good thoughts about the past that I can think of. It's usually about a guy I use to date or some good childhood memories when I felt the comfort of my family because we're all stuck inside the house.

It's a great feeling.

Today, it's been raining non-stop. Drizzling is probably a better word. And I simply love it. Don't you?

What do you do to help you relax after a stressful week? There is a mass exodus going on in my department in the past three months and it's getting worse. The ones who were left behind were forced to take on more work as we cannot find anyone to replace the ones who have already walked out or who have been let go.

It is very stressful and I have thought about looking for another job. But the job market out there totally suck. I have been with my company for a very long time and to start all over again is not an option. I do have mortgage payments to pay and I really love traveling so I think I may have to suck it up for a while.

Since Benjamin Godfre is our model for this week, I think it would be nice to know him more than just looking at his photos right? Summer is almost gone. School is about to start and I'm really wondering what my next step would be.

I have great news. I have been considered one of the students on the Dean's List for last semester. I think I'm doing well and I want to keep it that way. Hard work pays off my friends.

Happy father's day everyone!

I can't sleep tonight. I was tossing and turning for an hour when I decided to just get up and blog. I was thinking about a friend who lost her dog today. Her dog, an English bulldog was 14 years old. I remember how much it hurt when I lost my dog Simba a few years ago and I can imagine how she's feeling right now. I feel so bad.

On another note, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I was so tired earlier today and I thought it would be easy for me to fall asleep tonight - - wrong!

Tomorrow is a day of rest. I'm definitely going to need it.

I will blog more tomorrow.... if I wake up early enough. :)

I miss my personal trainer. He's the coolest guy ever!

It has been two years ago already since I hired a personal trainer to help me lose weight and get toned. I did it so that my roommate can get a deal on the training program since she doesn't earn much and didn't have the money to pay for that kind of amount for personal training.

I obliged. I'm a nice guy.

Then, I met the trainer. His name is Josh. A guy who is only 19-years of age but seemed to have his life all planned out. He graduated from high school and went right into becoming a personal trainer.

I did my first few sessions with him and while working out, we would kid around and we would talk. He always gave me a hard time at the elliptical machine and would it turn it up so high until I lose my breath just so that he could make fun of me.

I didn't mind it. I enjoyed my workouts with him.

He lived literally a block away from my house and on his way home, he would pass by my house and we would sit and talk for hours. He would tell me about his plans, talk to me about his faith and simply everything and anything under the sun.

The first night we talked, we stayed in my patio for eight straight hours. Yes, just talking.

He reminded me of myself when I was a young kid. I had so many plans. There were hindrances to my plans but I knew somehow that I would break them and get through it all.

I admired him a lot (and of course I had a little crush on him too). At his young age, he really had his life ahead of him. He could choose whatever path he wanted to take and could be whatever he wanted to be.

He moved out of my area last year and he moved out west to be with his brother. He's doing well. We keep in touch on Facebook. He's got a girlfriend out there and seem to be doing fine with his personal training business.

I miss him and I miss my talks with him. I promised I would call him last Sunday but I forgot about it.

He will remain one of my good friends and hopefully even more in the years to come.

I don't know if you've been in this situation before. You meet someone, you click, you enjoy each other's company and you somehow start to think that something's going to happen. You continue to hang out, have drinks, watch movies, laugh, cry, and then.... what?

I've had many moments where I thought for sure that something is going to blossom between me and the other guy. Yet, it stops right there. Neither one of you knows how to move forward from here.

I've met many guys in my life and most of them have become very good friends of mine. They show me the love and warmth of a friend and it feels like they want something more but when you start to move towards it, they pull away. Is that just a tease or do they really feel something but afraid to admit it?

Many times, I think that the moment wasn't right. Cause if it was, something magical would have happened. It's hard to gauge these things specially if you know that there is a possibility of rejection on either side.

The guys I've been with are few and far between. I tend to want to emotionally get attached first before I jump into sex if you know what I mean. It just seems more meaningful and more pleasurable for me to jump into bed with someone I longed for or someone I admired and loved.

But life doesn't seem to work that way. I am still learning and so far, most of them would simply want you to be one of the guys. I'm okay with that but I don't want them showing me affections that friends don't normally show.

I will learn one day. Right now, I'm coasting and I'm trying to figure out if there's more to what these guys want from me. I'm not going to be around forever and if I have to make the first move all the time, things will never progress. I am shy in that way. I don't push myself to someone I believe will not give me the time of day.
We grow, we learn. As of right now - - I'm still learning. If and when that guy comes around and we are meant for each other - - this drama won't have to play out. Yes is yes and no is no. That's about all there is to know.

I can't suffer just because someone is not attracted to me. I just move on to the next guy. It's not rocket science.

And one day, if it is meant to be... we don't have to struggle to know if one likes the other. It would flow naturally. I'm still waiting for that moment.

I joined Twitter way back when it first started. First, so I can promote my blog and post my entries directly on to Twitter. I didn't think that I will get any followers but lo and behold, I now can boast of 1152 followers. Yay!

I didn't think that I was going to be addicted to it as well. I was not really active on Twitter but being a celebrity blogger that I am, I needed to be updated in anything and everything that's going on in Hollywood so that my blog is almost real-time when things occur.

Recently, I became very active on Twitter because I found it fun to interact with my followers. I never really knew how to interact with them before until some of my followers started contacting me. The iPhone Twitter App is amazing and I can actually see who mentions me and if they have a message for me, I get notified.

I would like to give a big shoutout to my friends on Twitter like @iamchrisgun, @iamsajuy, @rarbrg and @suzukirick28. I interact with them mostly in the morning and at night since we all live in different time zones.

I recently followed @coasterboyjosh who is a producer of Elvis Duran in the morning radio show from New York city and he posted a photo of his abs to get followers. He's really cute but he's straight. Ehhemmmm!

Let's talk about the phrase answer I always get, "I'm straight dude!"

It is something that I have. Call it a gift, call it luck - call it whatever you wanna call it but straight guys have a fondness of me. Yup! Straight guys. At least that is what they tell me all the time. Whatever happens after that statement is beyond me but here are my stories.

I started to discover this 'gift' when I was younger. I had no gay friends growing up. I was always hanging out with straight kids. Even though they may have sensed that I was not the typical straight kid, they enjoyed my company. I go along with sports, mischief and so forth so there's really nothing that they can say about me.

Most of the straight guys I hung out with in high school will protect me from bullies. They always tell me that if someone takes advantage of me, just let them know and they will take care of it. Such power!

Well, looking back now - I realized that straight men enjoy my company. I am funny, I tell jokes a lot and I am just easy to get along with. No dramas.

One guy I particularly hung out with all the time just pulled me one day and told me that, "I've never felt like this before. I've had many gay friends but there's something about you!". Of course, I didn't take advantage of that because his girlfriend is a friend of mine. I wouldn't even dare cross that line.

Another time, I was invited by my neighbor (he's a cop) to his house for a party. There were lots of straight couples there. And if they are in a relationship, I pretty much stay away from them. Yet, at the end of the party, there's this one cute guy who came in and started taking shots with the guys. They asked me to join them and for fun, I did. After a while, (when everyone was tipsy), the host (the cop) had to kick us out because he has an early duty the next day. Since I lived across the street, I told the guys that we can take the party to my place.

I took a couple of beers from the fridge and walked over to my place... to my surprise, no one followed. I figured, that was the end of the night. But then, this cute fella parked right in front of my house. While I was smoking, he saw me and said - "Oh, that's where you live?!" (duh!). He asked to see my house and I showed him. Then, he told me that he bought a house just around the corner as well and would like to show me. I told him that we're both not fit to drive. He said that it is only a few seconds away.

He drove and yes, it was a few seconds away from my house. He invited me in and once inside, he showed me around his house. It was a nice town home with a poker table right in the middle of the living room. The wall was decorated with a poster of dogs playing cards. If that wasn't a give away for someone who's straight, I don't know what is.

We headed to the kitchen and we started talking. He was obviously drunk and was almost falling asleep as I was chatting with him. I did tell him that I am gay and he said he knew but he told me not to expect anything because he is straight. I told him that there was nothing to worry about, I understand.

But, the guy couldn't even stay up so I told him I will help him up to his bedroom. He obliged.

Once we got there, he took off his pants and just slumped right on the bed with half his body hanging out. I tried to help him and lifted his legs to the bed. He took my hand... and the rest was history.

Well, why do they insist on telling us they are straight? Is that because they are not convinced that they are? Or is it because they really are but they are simply excited because we've given them attention? I don't understand it.

The most recent one was a guy I met in a bar. He told me up front that he's straight and like I said, I am fine with that. I just had a conversation with him and we were having a ball! Nothing else. I would buy him drinks and he would buy me drinks...

At the end of the night, he went home with me.

What's up with that?

When rejection gives you a feeling of low self-esteem and self-worth...

You've been rejected in one form or another I would suspect. It's just one of those things that are going to be a part of our lives forever. It's not a one time thing. All through life, we get rejected. It could be a rejection from a job you are applying for, or by a person you are interested in, even probably a position in your company that you are vying for.

It can come in all shapes and sizes. It's not the rejection that is what shapes who we are. It is our reaction to the rejection.

When you didn't get the toy you have always wanted for Christmas, how did you react. Did you learn from the experience? Did you learn how to please your mom or dad so that next Christmas, you will get what you wanted?

As you grow older, these reactions to the very part of life called rejection teaches us something. It could make you a better person, or it can destroy your entire being.

I used to fear rejection and from time-to-time I still do. It's part of human nature. Yet, if you accept that it is a normal part of life and that the real score lies in the way you react to it - you are bound to be more successful in dealing with rejection than if you didn't realize that your reaction is where it makes its grade.

One time, I was rejected by this godly-like masculine guy that I said to myself, "The reason why I was so attracted to him was because of his physique. What better time than to turn my desire to myself!" - I took his rejection and used it as my motivation to go to the gym regularly until I was able to look at myself and say, "I've done very well and people look at me differently now. I feel confident, I feel great!"

But then, not all were victories. I've had rejections when I was younger that resulted in disastrous behavior on my part. I started drinking heavily thinking that no one will ever want a guy like me, I did all the things that would make me look unattractive because I fear rejection so much - "better me than you" kind of attitude. And then, later on I woke up and realized that it is not them who I am hurting. It's myself!

I picked myself up, dusted myself off and learned that it is not about what other people do to you. It's about how you REACT to it. Think about it.

Soul Mate - - Is there such a thing?

I don't know about y'all but I sometimes believe that there is one person made for each of us. We are all destined to meet that special someone - somehow, someday.

But there are times when I think that it's an illusion. It's not real.

Many a times have I fallen for someone who doesn't even notice I exist. And then, someone whom I don't even notice likes me. How then could there be a match if the situation always seems to be the one who likes you is not someone you like, and the one you like doesn't like you back?

One of the Facebook statuses that I read this morning said, "One more "NO" takes you a step closer to a "YES"". How many NOs are there? :)

Remember when I blogged about meeting new people early in the year because of a great experience I had? Well, that turned into nothing really. I'm a bit disappointed but I'm not sure if this "NO" is taking me closer to a "YES".

Hope everyone is having a great hump day! It's snowing again today and we're expecting to get up to 12". Yuck!

Sometimes we get caught off guard by things we never expected would happen to us. Wonderful things that even you or I couldn't have predicted. It does happen and it happens to me more than usual.

I recently met someone whom I never thought would have any interest in me whatsoever. It's a meeting by chance and a wonderful thing happened.

I don't know where this is going and what would amount to the friendship that just started but it looks promising.

Never expect too much because you may be disappointed in the end but you do have moments where you can dream.

So, for 2011 - let's all dream. It's free!

We all have our goals. I have had a goal for a while now and I've tried very hard to achieve it. I went back to school and I promised myself that I will have that Bachelor's Degree up on my wall someday. I worked full time in the morning and went to school in the evenings. It was tough. There were times when I would sleep early in the evening when I don't have classes and wake up at 3:00 a.m. to study. I would go to work and take my exams that same evening.

It's been a while now and when I started to not feel well (probably because of over exhaustion), I took a semester off. That one semester lead to two semesters. Now, I have been off for a year. I am almost at the brink of losing my momentum.

One phone call changed all that. A buddy of mine started taking his Masters three years ago. I must tell you that I was already back in school years before that but I could only handle a class or two every semester. My buddy called me to tell me that he just took his last class and that "he's done"!

That statement lit a fire under me. I am not going to give up. I am going back to school. It's not that I need it anymore because I do have a very good job and work for a multi-national company. I own my home and life is quite well. But that missing diploma on my wall still bothers me to this day.

I am going to enroll in the spring. I am 40 credits shy of getting that diploma and I am not going to give up. It is never too late.

It has certainly been a while since I went strolling around Manhattan. The last broadway show I saw in NYC was Miss Saigon. Yes, it has been that long.

But crave no more for I am going to New York this weekend. I am meeting with a very good friend of mine to experience dining and strolling around Manhattan.

Sorry if I haven't been posting any pictures lately. Life has simply been busy these past few months. I am still alive and well...just tired most of the time.

Going out almost every weekend has taken a toll on me and my blogging so please bear with me.

Summer lovin' - Summer drivin'.

Complain... complain... complain... that's all I have been doing for the past two summers. I love the beach. I lived in California for 2.5 years and loved every minute of it. Too bad I had to come back to the East Coast because of my job. I love being close to the water.

For the last 10 years, I have always gone to the beach every summer. Rehoboth Beach in Delaware is my destination. I haven't gone to the beach during the last couple of years simply because I have been traveling quite extensively. I have vowed to go to the beach this year and no one is going to stop me.

The only thing stopping me is the wear and tear on my car. I do have an SUV and it's nice to drive. I need new wheels bad though. It has been five years since I bought my car and it's crying for new tires. Before I travel to the beach, I wanted to get custom wheels for it. Since I'm going to spend for new tires anyway, why not buy custom wheels right?

I have made it a pre-requisite for my travels to have the car well-maintained and ready for the long haul. This year though, I think I'm splurging on wheels. My car hasn't gotten much attention in five years. She's be glad about the custom wheels before we head out the beach this summer.

The Wonders of Summer

All Winter long, we waited and wanted warm weather. It's a ritual that everyone of us have gone through. We want the sun, sand and surf.

Now that it's here...just as we do in the winter, we complain about how hot and humid it is outside. We turn up the air-conditioner so low just to escape the heat.

All-in-all, it's simply our nature. To want what we don't have and to take for granted what we do have.

The truth is, we enjoy the seasons and we are lucky to have the weather changes that we go through.

We do have one thing to learn. That is to enjoy what we have and savor it as if it's not going to last forever. In reality, it doesn't. So, pack up your coolers and your beach chairs...head on to the beach and enjoy life as it was designed to be enjoyed.

Summer will be gone before you know it. Enjoy guy-watching this summer...and better yet...have a great summer folks!

Have you ever watched the World Cup? I mean really?!

Having lived in the US for so long, I don't really remember having any interest in watching soccer. I got into baseball and football but never into soccer.

Could it be because of my surroundings? I somehow believe that it is definitely due to that. How did I find out?

During the last couple of years, I did extensive traveling between Europe and Asia. During the times when the FIFA World Cup is on, I was either in Europe or Asia - - - and let me tell you - - in those countries, the World Cup is as important as the air they breathe. At one point, I was in Germany and Germany was doing well that year. I had to buy some "soccer paraphernalia" because I got so excited with them.

It is contagious and what makes it more interesting more me are the hot guys who play soccer (or futbol if you're in Brazil).

You've done this too I'm sure. You look in the mirror and you see something that you don't like. A little belly perhaps, love handles? We all do it. We try to be fit during the summer months because everyone who has worked hard all winter long - going to the gym, working out and eating well are reaping the hard work they have done. They can go out shirtless as they walk on the street or we simply watch them walk around us and we wonder, "How did he get that kind of body?"

It's not too late. There's still time to catch up. If you haven't been to the gym since Fall of last year, you have to get up and go. Your ass was created to sit only when you're absolutely exhausted. You were created to move!

Imagine when men had to haunt for their family's food. They had no time to sit down by the television and wait for their beer to be handed to them! They had to go out and move to feed their family.

Work in our terms nowadays doesn't involve much physical work and therefore, we have to do more to keep our bodies in shape.

To get started, why don't we all go to the gym three times a week and spend 20 minutes each time running through the treadmill or using the elliptical machine. Possibly stationary biking would do you good if that's what you prefer. One thing we have to do is learn how to be always on the move so we can burn those calories.

If you want to look anything like these guys - - we have to start somewhere. Before we start lifting, let's lose some weight first.

It was a tough year last year uh? The economic meltdown, the stock market, job losses and all that jazz. I was so looking forward to 2010 and I am still very positive about it. There is no way but up from last year's financial fiasco. Yet, the job losses seem to continue and it doesn't look like there's end in sight just yet. However, I am remaining positive.

The natural calamities that plague our world today seem kind of unreal. Last year was the typhoon in the Philippines, and this time - the earthquake in Haiti. These are not small disasters. People's lives are being affected.

Wherever you are, whatever it is that you are doing - if you have the means to help - please help. Send a $5, $10, or even $100 if you can afford it. These people need our help and let's show the world that we haven't lost all hope just yet.

Trying to get fit and losing pounds during the winter months is challenge enough. Waking up in the cold weather and going to the gym when it's raining or snowing makes it even harder. But, not when you have a personal trainer. You are paying to get fit and if you do it right, you will reap the benefits in no time.

I would be very motivated if I have a trainer like hunky James Ellis. He has his own blog and a video blog on Youtube. He is so hot, I want to follow his tips and get back into the gym again. LOL!

I don't know what it is. Maybe because I am polite, or maybe because I look safe enough. I usually am very friendly with people. Jocks or not, I hung out with them in High School and College. There were no bullies (at least in my case) who made fun of me or took advantage of me. I simply got along with all kinds of guys.

One thing that I am curious about is that why would jocks hang out with me. They seem to even act as big brothers to me, protecting me from harm. If anyone made fun of me (no one did), I felt as if one call to any of my college jock friends would intimidate the heck out of anyone who dared.

I guess I was lucky that way. Some people don't have the same experience. They were bullied and even sometimes, taken advantage of. Most of the jocks I knew had bigger hearts than you can imagine. It just didn't show judging from their exterior. But in all honesty, jocks can be great buddies. You still have to pick 'em though. Some are just downright bullies.

To all my jock friends, thanks! This one is for you!

Online love affairs can be successful - don't get me wrong. But from my experience, it has never worked. It is totally different when you speak to someone online, chat via Skype or Yahoo Messenger - or even chat over the phone than meeting someone in person. I have met so many guys online in my time. We could have easily clicked over the phone and thought we were so in love with each other. Then, the moment of truth comes and you meet in person. The fire fizzles... it dies.

Why does that happen? I can't know for certain but I know I've learned my lesson. Instead of hurting someone or get hurt in the process of online dating, I would never want to get to know anyone online again. It's either I get hurt, or I hurt someone because the chemistry online is simply not the same in person.

Has that ever happened to you? What are your thoughts on dating someone online? Is Cyberlove the way to go? Personally, I don't think so.

I recently gave it another chance. Maybe - - jussst maybe it will work. It didn't. It was my fault because I should have known better. I ended up hurting someone who's totally sweet and kind. I thought that I could make it work. I thought, I'm more mature now and can handle an online relationship. I was wrong.

So folks, if you are thinking about it or going through an online relationship - - think twice. No, think thrice! It may be better to end it now and hurt someone than drag it on only to do the same thing later. Take my advice. I just went through it.

Hello peeps! I'm going on vacation for some time.. I will be back though, so don't miss me too much! :D It's a well planned vacation and I am so looking forward to it. I haven't had a full vacation like this in years!

Let me give you a clue... it's a place with more than 7,000 islands somewhere in Asia Pacific. Get it?! Ha! I am going to enjoy it. I want to do nothing but eat, drink, sleep and lay by the beach.

I have fallen asleep for a while... :) I am back though. It's time to revive our collection of male beauties. I was on vacation. I took a long weekend break in Chicago simply to recharge. In the process, I also went and accompanied my buddy who is soon to get married to his long-time girlfriend, to buy sexy dresses for his wife-to-be to be used when they go on to their honeymoon at the Virgin Islands. I was very happy for him actually (although felt a bit depressed to think that another one of my buddies is getting married - but hey, I got over it already).

As we were shopping, I told him that he should make it more exciting. I know his girlfriend and she's a really cool gal and if I remember correctly, she likes wearing sexy costumes on Halloween so I told my buddy to get her something that would be a surprise when they land on the islands. Since his girlfriend likes to dress sexy a lot, I told him to go online and get her something that would make her remember the honeymoon. I don't know if it was my place to do so but he agreed.

I showed him all types of sexy dresses and costumes that he could easily order online. Lingerie, boots, and sexy skirts. I even suggested stripper clothes (my buddy loves to go to strip bars but he's always good though). That got him quite excited and we had fun shopping online for his girlfriend. She knows I would put him up to something like this.. but she doesn't know how far we went with these. It will be a surprise of a lifetime for her.

I will be back in Chicago to attend the wedding. I hope he doesn't give it away.. I want to hear about the surprise when they get back.. or at least I hope I was right in asking him to surprise her with those. She seemed to be a good sport, so I say why not?
