What you should do before a major purchase. Make it an annual practice.

This economic meltdown has really placed a dent on a lot of consumer's credit ratings. If your home was foreclosed, your credit was definitely affected and it may take a while before you can borrow money again.

Yet, your credit rating doesn't just get affected by real-life events. There are times that your records may not reflect what your credit is actually supposed to reflect. There could be erroneous errors within your credit record that you may not have time to clean up. A company can surely help. Have you checked out your rmcn ranking lately?

You see, it's a good practice to check your credit records at least once a year. The government allows you to obtain a free credit report once a year for free. You can choose which month you'd like to review your credit and when you do, see how your rmcn rankings fare out. I normally do it at the beginning of the year but other people check their credit report mid-year. Either
way, it is best that you put it into practice. Always clean up your credit report before making a big purchase like buying a home or a car. It will help you in the long run with regards to the interest rate that you will be given or the amount of cash you can be allowed to borrow. Take control of your financial future.
