Sometimes it just won't fit.

Online love affairs can be successful - don't get me wrong. But from my experience, it has never worked. It is totally different when you speak to someone online, chat via Skype or Yahoo Messenger - or even chat over the phone than meeting someone in person. I have met so many guys online in my time. We could have easily clicked over the phone and thought we were so in love with each other. Then, the moment of truth comes and you meet in person. The fire fizzles... it dies.

Why does that happen? I can't know for certain but I know I've learned my lesson. Instead of hurting someone or get hurt in the process of online dating, I would never want to get to know anyone online again. It's either I get hurt, or I hurt someone because the chemistry online is simply not the same in person.

Has that ever happened to you? What are your thoughts on dating someone online? Is Cyberlove the way to go? Personally, I don't think so.

I recently gave it another chance. Maybe - - jussst maybe it will work. It didn't. It was my fault because I should have known better. I ended up hurting someone who's totally sweet and kind. I thought that I could make it work. I thought, I'm more mature now and can handle an online relationship. I was wrong.

So folks, if you are thinking about it or going through an online relationship - - think twice. No, think thrice! It may be better to end it now and hurt someone than drag it on only to do the same thing later. Take my advice. I just went through it.

Hello peeps! I'm going on vacation for some time.. I will be back though, so don't miss me too much! :D It's a well planned vacation and I am so looking forward to it. I haven't had a full vacation like this in years!

Let me give you a clue... it's a place with more than 7,000 islands somewhere in Asia Pacific. Get it?! Ha! I am going to enjoy it. I want to do nothing but eat, drink, sleep and lay by the beach.

I have fallen asleep for a while... :) I am back though. It's time to revive our collection of male beauties. I was on vacation. I took a long weekend break in Chicago simply to recharge. In the process, I also went and accompanied my buddy who is soon to get married to his long-time girlfriend, to buy sexy dresses for his wife-to-be to be used when they go on to their honeymoon at the Virgin Islands. I was very happy for him actually (although felt a bit depressed to think that another one of my buddies is getting married - but hey, I got over it already).

As we were shopping, I told him that he should make it more exciting. I know his girlfriend and she's a really cool gal and if I remember correctly, she likes wearing sexy costumes on Halloween so I told my buddy to get her something that would be a surprise when they land on the islands. Since his girlfriend likes to dress sexy a lot, I told him to go online and get her something that would make her remember the honeymoon. I don't know if it was my place to do so but he agreed.

I showed him all types of sexy dresses and costumes that he could easily order online. Lingerie, boots, and sexy skirts. I even suggested stripper clothes (my buddy loves to go to strip bars but he's always good though). That got him quite excited and we had fun shopping online for his girlfriend. She knows I would put him up to something like this.. but she doesn't know how far we went with these. It will be a surprise of a lifetime for her.

I will be back in Chicago to attend the wedding. I hope he doesn't give it away.. I want to hear about the surprise when they get back.. or at least I hope I was right in asking him to surprise her with those. She seemed to be a good sport, so I say why not?

Relaxing over the weekend...

Looking for the perfect guys can't be that hard right? Besides, they are the ones who work hard on their bodies day and night, take the time to sleep well and eat the right meals. Some do that, but most of them are already naturally blessed with a physique that is perfect even without working out. Some of the ones who work hard at it do get the results that they need. They are at the gym four to five times a week, drink protein shakes and eat chicken breasts every single time. Sheesh! I wish it was that easy.

I chose to relax over the weekend because frankly, I'm exhausted. I haven't been to the gym for a while and I want to get back into it before I go on vacation in May. This weekend is different though. I decided that I will do absolutely nothing this weekend. Relax, watch TV, and sleep early so I can recharge. I want to look like the male beauties in this blog but unlike them, I wasn't blessed with a gene that provides the broad shoulders, the massive chest, arms and legs. I really have to WORK AT IT.

After this weekend, I will definitely try my best to get back into the gym. Every time I take classes at school, my time management skills go down the drain. I have a hard time coping with the stress of studying over the weekend and making sure I'm on the up-and-up on my studies. I need to work on that as well.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great weekend... just remember, it takes two weeks before any improvements are noticed when you're working out so don't ever give up during the first week thinking nothing is happening. Wait two weeks and then see - - you'll be more motivated by the results then.

Pardon my lack of posts...

Well I'm taking a beating. But I won't cry, I bought it on myself and everyone certainly has the right to vent. The good news is that most of you cut me some slack with just a bit of lecturing. Unfortunately a few didn't and some of those were guys I have really grown to like. That kinda sucks. Part of me feels like repeatedly apologizing, but my guess is that those who will forgive already have, and those who have not probably never will.



I think it best if just move on. Of course I expect a few more questions over time, but I'll not address the issue via my future posts again. I’ve flexed my inner muscle (definitely a joke in that), hiked up my britches and got back on track. And I’m slinging clichés’ like a Fox News reporter…lol.

My ever-vacillating vacation plans are alive and well. The Islands might be on again and I'm thinking of a quick trip to Bangkok. I was actually scared to go there, but I have a female co-worker who just went with her girlfriend and they had a blast. No safety issues as all. We'll see.
